AI Staff & agents
Autonomy levels explained
Supervised, Semi-autonomous and Autonomous for staff. Draft only, Review required and Full auto for content. And the kill switch above both.
Staff autonomy
Every AI staff member has one of three levels. Supervised agents propose and wait; every action lands in the Agent Inbox as a request you approve or deny. Semi-autonomous agents act on low-risk work and ask on medium and high-risk actions. Autonomous agents act and report, and only escalate when something is outside their capability list.
You pick the level when hiring and can change it any time from the agent's page. Lowering it takes effect on the agent's next action.
The content autonomy ceiling
Separately, Settings, then Content Controls sets an organisation-wide ceiling for anything that publishes. Draft only means agents write and never schedule. Review required means agents can schedule but a person must approve first. Full auto means agents can schedule and publish. The ceiling caps every agent regardless of its own level.
The kill switch
The same page has Pause all agent posting. It is immediate, applies to the whole workspace, and is reversible. Drafts keep being written; nothing goes out. Use it during an incident, a rebrand, or any day you want a human on every send.
