Ellum · Changelog

Every release, every week.

Features, improvements and fixes shipped to Ellum — straight from the team building it.

v2.6.0
Feature

Agent roster, with scoped runs

Hire an agent into a department, give it a scope, and watch what it actually touched. Every run is now attributable.

Roster

  • Agents are hired into a department and a seniority, and inherit that department's tone and knowledge scope
  • Each agent carries an explicit capability list — it cannot act outside it
  • Added a roster view showing who is installed, who is idle, and who is mid-run

Runs

  • Every run records the agent, the trigger, the surfaces it read, and the artefacts it produced
  • Runs can be stopped mid-flight; partial output is kept as a draft rather than discarded
  • Failed runs now surface the failing step instead of a generic error
v2.5.4
Fix

Editor stability pass

A round of fixes to the rich-text editor after reports of lost formatting and stuck selections.

Editor

  • Pasting from Google Docs no longer strips list nesting
  • Fixed a stuck selection after undoing a block-level delete
  • Slash-menu no longer opens inside code blocks
  • Autosave no longer fires mid-composition on IME input
v2.5.3
Improvement

Content calendar rebuilt around scheduling

The calendar was a read-only month grid. It is now the place you actually schedule from.

Scheduling

  • Drag a draft onto a slot to schedule it; drag between slots to reschedule
  • Per-channel slots, so the same piece can go out on different days per platform
  • Conflict warnings when two pieces target the same channel inside an hour

Views

  • Added a week view alongside month
  • Scheduled and published items are visually distinct at a glance
  • Filter the calendar by department, agent, or channel
v2.5.1
Improvement

A faster overview

The dashboard home was doing too much work on the server. It now loads in a fraction of the time.

Performance

  • Overview cards stream in independently rather than blocking on the slowest query
  • Median load time down from 2.4s to 380ms on a workspace with a year of history
  • Skeletons match the final layout, so nothing jumps when data lands
v2.5.0
Feature

Knowledge Center citations on every draft

Anything the AI writes now points back at the source it leaned on, so you can check it before it ships.

Citations

  • Drafts carry inline citations back to the Knowledge Center document and section
  • Hovering a citation shows the passage that informed the sentence
  • Claims the model could not ground are flagged rather than quietly asserted

Ingest

  • Added PDF, DOCX, Markdown and URL ingest with per-source refresh
  • Re-ingesting a source updates citations in place instead of orphaning them
v2.4.4
Feature

Zapier and Linear connectors

Two more connectors, bringing the catalogue to twelve.

Connectors

  • Zapier connects by API key and can trigger any of your existing Zaps
  • Linear connects by OAuth and can read and file issues against a team
  • Both appear in the connector catalogue with live connection status
v2.4.3
Feature

Competitor tracking in Analytics

Track a handful of competitors alongside your own numbers, on the same axes.

Tracking

  • Add up to ten competitors per workspace and track posting cadence and engagement
  • Share-of-voice chart comparing your output against the tracked set
  • Weekly digest summarising what moved and what did not
v2.4.1
Improvement

Per-piece publish analytics

Every published piece now has its own analytics view rather than only rolling up into the channel total.

Analytics

  • Reach, engagement and click-through per piece, per channel
  • Compare a piece against your median for that channel
  • Deep link from the calendar straight into a piece's numbers
v2.4.0
Feature

One inbox for comments and messages

Replies across every connected channel land in a single queue, with the AI drafting the first pass.

Inbox

  • Comments and DMs from all connected channels land in one queue
  • Suggested replies are drafted in your tone of voice and held for approval
  • Assign a thread to a teammate or an agent without leaving the inbox

Triage

  • Threads are grouped by sentiment and urgency
  • Muted keywords keep low-value noise out of the queue
v2.3.6
Fix

Connector token refresh

Connections were silently expiring and only surfacing when a run failed.

Fixes

  • OAuth tokens refresh ahead of expiry instead of on first failure
  • A connection that genuinely needs re-authorising now shows a banner rather than failing runs quietly
  • Fixed a race where two concurrent runs could both consume the same refresh token
v2.3.4
Improvement

Clearer billing and seat management

Usage, seats and invoices in one place, with limits you can see before you hit them.

Billing

  • Usage meters for agent runs and connected channels, with a projection for the period
  • Seat changes are previewed with their prorated cost before you confirm
  • Invoice history is downloadable as PDF or CSV

Fixes

  • Fixed a case where a cancelled seat still counted toward the workspace limit
  • Overage emails no longer send twice when two admins are subscribed
v2.3.2
Feature

Chatbots you can publish

Point a chatbot at a slice of your Knowledge Center and put it on your site.

Chatbots

  • Scope a bot to specific Knowledge Center sources
  • Embed snippet with a configurable launcher and theme
  • Transcripts land in the shared inbox so a human can take over
v2.3.0
Improvement

Faster workspace setup

Getting from signup to a first draft used to take too many steps. It now takes three.

Onboarding

  • Brand voice is inferred from your site on first run and offered for confirmation
  • Connect a channel and ingest a first source in the same step
  • Skipped steps are surfaced later rather than blocking the workspace
v2.2.4
Feature

Ask your workspace a question

A single prompt box that answers across content, pipeline and analytics at once.

Query

  • Ask in plain language and get an answer grounded in your own data
  • Answers cite the records they drew on and link straight to them
  • Saved questions can be pinned to the overview
v2.2.1
Fix

Scheduled prompt reliability

A batch of fixes to scheduled prompts after reports of runs firing late or twice.

Fixes

  • Scheduled prompts no longer double-fire when a workspace changes timezone
  • A run that overlaps its own next trigger is now skipped rather than queued behind it
  • Fixed drifting execution times on schedules older than thirty days
  • Chat history is no longer truncated when a scheduled run appends to an existing thread
v2.2.0
Feature

Brand voice profiles

One tone of voice was never enough. Workspaces can now hold several and pick per piece.

Voice

  • Define multiple voice profiles with their own rules, banned phrases and examples
  • Assign a default profile per channel or per department
  • The Brand Editor checks drafts against the profile that applies to them
v2.1.5
Improvement

Bulk actions across content

Selecting thirty drafts and acting on them one at a time was the most common complaint we had.

Content

  • Multi-select across the content list with shift-click and select-all
  • Bulk schedule, reassign, retag or archive
  • A bulk action that partially fails now reports exactly which items failed and why
v2.1.3
Fix

Calendar timezone handling

Scheduled items were rendering against the viewer's timezone rather than the workspace's.

Fixes

  • Slots render in the workspace timezone regardless of where the viewer is
  • Daylight-saving transitions no longer shift a week of scheduled posts by an hour
  • The timezone in force is now shown in the calendar header
v2.1.0
Feature

Approval workflows

Nothing an agent drafts has to go out unreviewed.

Approvals

  • Require approval per channel, per department, or for anything an agent authored
  • Approvers are notified in-app and by email, with a one-click approve or send-back
  • Send-backs carry a comment that lands on the draft

Audit

  • Every approval, rejection and override is recorded against the piece
v2.0.6
Improvement

Roles and permissions

Finer-grained control over who can connect channels, publish, and spend.

Permissions

  • Added Owner, Admin, Editor and Viewer roles with per-capability overrides
  • Connecting or disconnecting a channel is now its own permission
  • Billing is visible only to Owners and Admins by default
v2.0.3
Fix

Media upload pipeline

Large uploads were timing out and occasionally attaching to the wrong draft.

Fixes

  • Uploads are chunked and resume after a dropped connection
  • Fixed an attachment landing on the previously open draft when you switched mid-upload
  • HEIC and AVIF are converted on upload instead of failing validation
  • Clearer error when a file exceeds the channel's own size limit
v2.0.1
Improvement

Audit log

A readable record of who did what, and which of it was an agent.

Audit

  • Filter by actor, surface, and whether the action was human or agent
  • Export a date range as CSV
  • Entries link through to the record they changed where it still exists
v2.0.0
Feature

Ellum 2.0

A rebuilt workspace: six modules that share one knowledge base, one brand voice, and one set of agents.

What changed

  • Content, Social, Sales, Marketing, Leads and Admin are now one workspace rather than separate tools
  • The Knowledge Center became the single source every module and agent reads from
  • Agents moved from a single assistant to a roster with defined roles and scope

Migrating

  • Existing workspaces migrate in place; drafts, schedules and connections carry over
  • Channel connections need re-authorising once, on first sign-in after the upgrade
